Giving back

Last December I had the opportunity to spend a month in India.
I went to shoot a wedding but found myself completely immersed in the rich culture of
this Incredible Country.
For as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated with India;
The history, architecture, people,  cuisine, faiths, and traditions.
From a photographers perspective India is a visual feast!

It had been my dream to go there to experience first hand the diverse cultures that make this place so special and beautiful in so many ways.It was all I expected yet so much more.
I witnessed things that broke my heart, and awakened my soul.
I feel I have been so enriched from this Journey, and since then I have been looking for a way to give back to this beautiful place, and it’s people!

I am pleased to announce that I have found a way, through these images you are about to see!
I have teamed up with Asha Canada, the Canadian arm of Asha for Education.
Whose stated mission is “to catalyze socio-economic change in India through education of underprivileged children.”
With 98.7% of their funds going directly to projects in India, Asha has consistently rated among the top 10 charities by Charity Navigator.
I am donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of fine art prints of these images to Asha for Education.

The images are giclee printed on museum quality, archival paper. matted and signed by me, the artist.
I have always been passionate about Photography, Indian Culture, and now I am passionate about this project.
Join me in making a meaningful contribution to India’s future with your purchase of one of these stunning images.
Celebrate this joyous season with a beautiful photographic gift for a loved one or for yourself,
and help to provide educational opportunities for India’s underprivileged children.

Andrew, these are simply wonderful. Always did know that I come from a beautiful land and people. But many a times, it takes another person’s viewpoint to see the beauty and grace in things we take for granted. I have viewed these pics a few times now and it seems that I accompanied you on this trip. The scenes are familiar and yet so fresh. You have definitely given me a new perspective on my native land. Thanks. Thank you also for sharing. Cheers! Sushil

Your photographs are amazing… I’m going to forward the link to my siblings. You really do manage to capture the moment, and not just that, but the light, the colour, and what your photos do for me is bring back scent, I feel through scent, and I can smell the desert and the salt and the light in those photos…
