A wedding at the Rosewater

One of my favorite Downtown Toronto venues – The Rosewater, a stunning Bride, and a perfect overcast day!

The day started off wet!! with thunder showers, but I convinced Margaret that all will be well!

My favorite time to shoot is right after the rain! Everything looks fresh and the colors so vivid!

Luckily by the time we left her house for the ceremony, it was all cleared up.

The reception was really beautiful, simple and elegant, took place at The Rosewater in Toronto.

I have photographed several of Margarets friends weddings in the past, it’s always nice catching up with my previous couples at weddings.

I love shooting weddings with other photographers, it gives me the opportunity to get some really great shots when the bridal party is not so focused on MY camera!

Kim Lovell asked me to help her out with Anna and David’s wedding last month in Toronto, I’ve been friends with Kim for sometime now and always enjoy shooting with her.

Feels much less like work and just hanging out at a wedding and taking some fun shots! Having two photographers at your wedding is also such a great idea if you can budget for it.

You get two distinct looks, and styles.

An Eco Chic Wedding at Canoe Restaurant in Toronto

Rachael and Brad are both outdoor adventure types, Brad owns a cycle shop and Rachael is an avid cyclist.

So it was no surprise when I found out about their eco-friendly wedding.

The Flowers were made of Balsa wood! Yes wood! You have to see them up close and touch them to believe it.

Their so beautiful! Toronto Event Planner Cynthia Martyn once again out did herself putting all these beautiful elements of style into this simply Elegant and Eco-Chic wedding.

It all took place at the Canoe, one of Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants and on the 54th floor of the TD Bank in Downtown Toronto.

Rachael looked gorgeous in her Vera Wang dress, and oh so pretty in her pink shoes! I just love the Seating chart they had designed for the wedding.

Laura and Themi – A winter white wedding!

I have to admit that winter weddings in Canada can be challenging!

Loads of possible issues,Cameras freezing up, Photographers freezing up,Bridal party freezing up! You get the idea!

So while I was still in the warm tropics of Southern India my talented associates Michael and Yianni

had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Themi’s beautiful winter white wedding.

A stunning Greek Orthodox Church, a bright sunny day by the Harbourfront, and one of my favorite Toronto Venues The Liberty Grand all made for a picture perfect day!

Graydon Hall Wedding – Karen and Jason

A fun day, two of my favorite locations to shoot in Toronto.

St. Michaels Cathedral, a beautiful church.

Followed by the traditional Chinese tea ceremony and reception at Graydon Hall.

Karen and Jason even had their cute little dog, Gum Gum for a photo shoot on the grounds of Graydon Hall.

It was a beautiful day and Karen and Jason were such a cute couple.

Alexandra and Benjamin’s Wedding at the RCYC

Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have this job.To be able to witness and be a part of a couples most memorable and often happiest moments of their lives.Alexandra and Ben’s day was a reminder for me just how much I love my job!Their utter Joy and love for each other was so obvious, and when a couple has this kind of connection;it makes for wonderful, heartfelt images.It was a beautiful day at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club on the Toronto Islands.Congratulations Alexandra and Benjamin.I wish you both many years of continued happiness!
