If you’ve never been it is  the largest multi-disciplinary South Asian arts festival outside of South Asia.

A selection of my fine art prints from India will be available for sale at the event next weekend –  July 23-25, 2010, in Toronto.

All proceeds from the sale of these images go to support children’s educational programs in India, via Asha for Eduction Canada.

A wonderful organization that I am very proud to be a part of.

So come get inspired by some of the best South Asian Culture, art, dance, music, and culinary delights.

Well I am really excited to announce that I have launched a brand new website.

Katha Images. Katha is an Indian style of story telling, often told through traditional dance, paintings, or other forms of creative art.

This site will be dedicated to my love for all things South Asian.

Not just Indian weddings, but also my fine art photography, tavel photos from India,  my humanitarian work with

Asha for Education, and other worthy causes in India, and what ever else I find inspiring to bring my readers.

With the explosion of digital imaging, it seems that just about anyone can buy a half decent camera these days

and suddenly they are a photographer. I have always believed that what makes a good photographer is not about the equipment,

It’s about the art, and knowing how to express your creative vision.  That is what you should be looking at when selecting a photographer for your wedding.

When Jessie and Susy came to see me about their big day, I had a feeling we would click. (Pun intended!)

They understand and appreciate the value of fine art photography.

What a year it was! I started the season off with  Simone and George’s traditional South Indian,  Christian Wedding in beautiful Kerala, India.

And finished off the year back in India again with the spectacular week long

wedding extravaganza of Tina and Ashok on December in Bangalore and Delhi.

In between I was lucky to witness some of the most heart warming, celebrations of love,

the beautiful union of two diverse cultures at Brenda and Jittesh’s, Chinese/Indian fusion wedding in Toronto.

Jennifer and Ryan’s rustic, fall wedding at her families farm in the Country side,  and many more wonderful, moments.

I am looking forward to an exciting 2010, and want to wish all my previous and future clients, friends and family,

a happy, healthy, prosperous year ahead!
